 Why Pragya…

The Project ‘Pragya’ was started in the memory of Late Maa Amma Chandrawati in the year 2010.Amma Chandrawati, having realized the disparity in the opportunities available for empowerment of the girl child, realized her dream by opening up RCEW, primarily for Technical education for Girls .She has been the source of inspiration for all the faculty, staff and students to strive hard in further improving the standards of the institution. With this aim, AMMA initiated steps for financial assistance to the deserving students. In this direction Project `Pragya` is rendering Yeoman’s service  for encouraging more and more girls students to continue with their UG & PG Technical   education. To realize the dreams of AMMA & in her memory, their sons, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Chairman RCEW and Dr. Narendra Singh, Seceratory of RCEW, decided to provide world class education to those girls who  desired to pursue their education being  good in their academics but unable to continue on account of financial conditions. To fulfill these aims and objectives, they started providing scholarships to girls to enable them to continue their higher education .Since last three years, they have provided scholarships to more than 200 girls and have been disbursing scholarships worth Rs 5 to 10 Lakh per session.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR THE EXAMS:

Ist Phase: (For School Level)

1. Total Marks :50 (50 questions)
2. Duration:  1hr.
3. Pattern of Exam :Objective Type Question
4. Syllabus : Physics,Chemistry,Math,English and General Knowledge (10 Questions from each Portion)

Prize: Top 3 students be awarded on spot and invite top 15 students for participating in the final round

IInd  Phase: (For College Level)

1. Total Marks : 100(85 Objective Questions + 15 Marks English Essay/Paragraph )
2. Duration:  2hr.
3. Pattern of Exam :Objective Type Questions + Paragraph Writing
4. Syllabus : Physics,Chemistry,Math,English,General Knowledge (15 Questions from each Portion) and Computers (10 Questions ) and English Essay/Paragraph

Result: The Final Result will be declared within 3 days after the exam completion and prize will be distributed on the occasion of the College Annual Function)
Prize: Top 3 students (As decided by the College Management) and Scholarships as decided by the management to all other students who had participated in Pragya- ’14 & who finally take admission in RCEW.

VARIOUS PHASES OF EXAM:

Ist Phase: (At School)

1. Presentation of college ppt in front of all the students by the one of the faculty members.
2. Conduction of the exam in the presence of school faculty members
3. Copy check and result declaration and distribution of prizes to the students

IInd Phase:(At College)

1. Presentation of college ppt in front of all the parents, teachers and the students by the one of the faculty members.
2. College visit for the parents
3. Conduction of the exam by the exam department in the presence of college authorities.
4. College visit for the students who were participate in the exam.
5. Announcement of results within three days of completion of the exam
